Keep chemistry measuring tools identifiable
Reduce confusion between preparation stages.
A working bench should make the next chemical unmistakable.
Assign and label the tools
Use equipment appropriate for the selected chemistry and label its intended role. Keep chemical containers separate from food equipment. Prepare each bath according to its own instructions and avoid transferring an unwashed tool between solutions. Check the product-specific cleaning and safety requirements rather than relying on colour alone.

Test the bench arrangement
Read the run sheet while looking at the actual containers. Place the stages in a clear order and keep waste separate. Ask whether another careful user could identify each bottle without your memory. Correct an ambiguous label before starting, not after the first liquid has entered the tank.
