Log an enlargement change before reusing an exposure
Size and exposure are connected.
An exposure selected for one print size may not suit another enlargement.
Record the physical setup
Note the projected image size, enlarger height or relevant scale, lens aperture and paper. ILFORD’s exposure-testing guidance warns that changing enlargement requires exposure adjustment. Keep the old record intact instead of writing a new size beside the old time as though nothing else changed.

Make a fresh test
Use the important image area to evaluate the new setup following the paper instructions. Compare a processed proof before making the full batch. Label the new print version with its dimensions so someone repeating the session knows which settings belong together.
