Was wir veröffentlichen
Diese englischsprachige Ausgabe behandelt frühe Porträtmaschinen, Erfinder und Künstler, kulturelle Traditionen, Fotobox-Typen, Kameratechnik, Veranstaltungsplanung, Drucklayouts, Aufbewahrung, eine kleine Auswahl von Standorten aus Betreiberlisten und die acht Designs von Flashroom. Sie ist kein vollständiges Verzeichnis aller Automaten, Personen oder Orte. Wir bevorzugen eine belegte Geschichte gegenüber einer selbstsicher vorgetragenen Erfindungsgeschichte.
Wie man die Beweise liest
Historische und technische Aussagen verweisen auf Museumsunterlagen, Archive, Patente, Herstellerdokumentation, Berichte von Restauratoren oder namentlich zugeordnete Berichte. Die Unternehmensgeschichte eines Herstellers gibt dessen Sichtweise wieder; ein Besucherbericht ist keine landesweite Bestandsaufnahme. Wir bewahren ungefähre Datierungen und abweichende Angaben. Unser Geschichtsartikel erläutert, warum der Prototyp von 1925 und die umstrittene Broadway-Eröffnung von 1925–1926 nicht als ein einziges Ereignis behandelt werden sollten.
Forschungsstand: 2. Oktober 2026. Praktische Bildfolgen und Interpretationen der Designs sind eigene redaktionelle Vorschläge. Historische Angaben zu Veranstaltungsorten garantieren keine aktuellen Standorte, Öffnungszeiten oder Preise.
Unsere acht Fotobox-Designs sind zeitgenössische Kreationen
Disco ’78, Flash ’96, Tokyo ’02, Paris ’64, Berlin Noir, Instant ’98, Pop ’67 und Brighton ’82 sind die kreativen Namen von Flashroom. Jahre und Orte lassen auf Stimmungen schließen. Es handelt sich nicht um erfundene Herkunftsangaben, historische Maschinenmodellnummern oder Behauptungen, dass unsere digitalen Bilder physische Silbergelatine oder Sofortbildfilme verwenden.
Bilder und Berechtigungen
Der filmisch inszenierte Holzladen, die fliegenden Fotografien und das stimmungsvolle Archiv sind eigens für Flashroom erstellte, generierte Illustrationen. Sie sind keine historischen Belege. Die Beispielbilder zu den acht Fotokabinen sind eigene illustrative Motive, die in der App verwendet werden; sie zeigen weder echte historische Aufnahmen noch Ergebnisse von Nutzersitzungen.
Dokumentarische Bilder sind unten aufgeführt. Bilder von Museumskunstwerken mit unklaren oder eingeschränkten Weiterverwendungsrechten werden als Forschungsquellen verlinkt und nicht reproduziert. Das Lesen einer Museumsseite berechtigt nicht automatisch zur Nutzung des Bildes.
